Misi Horváth – harmonica player

He was born in November, 1969 in Esztergom, Hungary.

He started to play the harmonica when he was 8-9 years old. After a long break he took up the instrument again when he was 20. As there is no harmonica education in Hungary, Misi is a self-taught musician. He experimented during the years, and he found his own style on the instrument. He not only plays the the blues, but his virtuoso playing contains elements of latin and balkan music.

He was touring in several countries such as Slovakia, the Checz republic, Germany, Slovenia, Austria, Switzerland, Italy. In 2005-2006 he played in Greece with the internationally renowned band Blues Wire.

In Hungary he works together with musicians such as Ádám Török (Török Ádám és a Mini), András Zeffer, Jenő Fekete (Palermo Boogie Gang), Long Tall Sonny and Zoltán Nemes (Jambalaya) and Eszter Takács.

In 2008, Misi started to play the guitar.

In 2014 he made his first solo album.

Now he is working on his new album which will be released in 2017.
